Uber Freight has significantly more load volume since Convoy's acquisition by Flexport reduced its independent freight offerings. Uber Freight benefits from its parent company's massive shipper network and continues to grow its load inventory. Flexport's focus has shifted more toward international logistics, making domestic truckload availability less consistent.
Both platforms were pioneers in upfront pricing for carriers, but Uber Freight has maintained a stronger commitment to transparent, non-negotiable rates displayed before booking. Convoy/Flexport's pricing model has become less transparent post-acquisition as Flexport integrates its own pricing strategies into the platform.
Uber Freight's one-tap booking experience remains best-in-class for digital freight. Drivers can see a load, check the rate, and book instantly without calling a broker. Convoy's booking process has become more complex since the Flexport transition, with some loads requiring additional steps that slow down the booking flow.
Uber Freight's app has benefited from Uber's expertise in consumer app design — it is fast, intuitive, and familiar to anyone who has used a ride-share app. The Convoy app has been in transition since the Flexport acquisition and has received mixed reviews about reliability and feature availability during the integration period.
Uber Freight provides in-app support, quick pay options, and a dedicated carrier team. Convoy's carrier support has experienced disruptions during the Flexport transition, with longer response times and some confusion about points of contact as the two organizations merge their support structures.

Uber Freight is the stronger choice in 2026, largely because Convoy's acquisition by Flexport has disrupted its service for domestic carriers. Uber Freight offers more loads, a better app experience, and the transparent pricing model that made digital freight attractive in the first place.
Convoy/Flexport may improve over time as the integration stabilizes, and Flexport's global logistics network could eventually create unique opportunities for carriers. But right now, the platform is in transition and the carrier experience reflects that.
Neither platform should be your only load source. Both work best as supplements to traditional load boards like DAT and Truckstop, giving you additional booking options and guaranteed-rate loads when they fit your lanes.
