Our Review

Trulos is the newest entrant in the load board space, combining load board functionality with dispatching services. Their platform is still building load volume and carrier adoption. The technology is modern but the limited load inventory and thin broker network make it supplementary at best. Worth watching as they grow, but not ready to compete with established boards yet.

Pros

  • Modern, clean interface built with current technology
  • Competitive pricing — lower than DAT and Truckstop
  • Hybrid model combining load board with dispatch services
  • No long-term contracts
  • Active development with regular feature updates

Cons

  • Very limited load volume — far less than DAT, Truckstop, or even 123Loadboard
  • New platform with minimal track record and few user reviews
  • Thin broker network means fewer load options in most markets
  • Customer support infrastructure is still developing
  • Some features are still in beta or partially implemented

Our Verdict

Trulos is an ambitious newcomer with a modern platform and an interesting hybrid dispatch and load-board model. However, the fundamental challenge for any new load board is building the load volume that carriers need, and Trulos is not there yet. Use the free tier as a supplementary option, but keep your primary load sourcing on DAT or Truckstop. Trulos is worth monitoring as they grow, but not worth betting your livelihood on today.
